Job Overview

Gaia Home Care LTD are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team, providing compassionate, person centred care and support to individuals in their home. We aim to provided the highest possible level of care to individuals enabling them to live as independently as possible in the comfort of their own homes. The role involves assisting clients with day to day tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, medication assistance and social aspects such as shopping trips. We have one FULL TIME position available 35+ hours per week. 12.34ph after training plus PAID travel time at your hourly rate and 45p Per mile travelled in your own car

Duties

- Supporting clients with personal care needs
- Assisting clients with day to day tasks
- Communicating effectively with management, families, and healthcare professionals
- Providing person centred care and companionship to clients
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided
- Utilising care software for documentation and reporting

Skills

- Ability to drive is essential for home visits
- Experience in care or similar environment would be great but not essential
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues
- Be able to pass enhanced DBS
- eager to learn and take on new challenges
- Basic IT proficiency for record keeping
- Proficient in English language for effective communication
