We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Healthcare Assistant

to join our care team. The successful candidate will support patients and service users with daily living activities, personal care, and overall well-being, while maintaining dignity, respect, and a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients/service users with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding. Support mobility and encourage independence wherever possible. Monitor and record patients' conditions, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients. Assist with mealtimes and hydration, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Maintain accurate care records and report changes in health or behavior to senior staff. Help keep the care environment safe, clean, and comfortable. Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals. Follow infection control, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting (preferred but not essential; training may be provided). NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and nights if required.
