We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a friendly and respectful environment Monitor and record health conditions, reporting any concerns to senior staff promptly Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary Maintain cleanliness and organisation of care environments in accordance with health and safety standards Support with medication administration under supervision, ensuring correct procedures are followed Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments as required, ensuring their safety during travel

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel or escorting clients Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' well-being Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts as required; some roles may involve working evenings or weekends depending on service needs
