Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support to patient's in a GP setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in IT, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Previous experience in care environments is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This will be a face to face patient role. 30 hours per week and wages to be discussed.

Duties

Maintain accurate records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery regarding blood test results. Phlebotomy Adult Immunizations NHS health checks Wound care Blood pressures Diabetic checks Asthma checks Docman clinical coding.

Requirements

Knowledge of care plans and procedures relevant to healthcare assistance. Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes. Compassionate attitude with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work shifts as required.
