Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)

to join our growing team in

Ipswich

. This is a fulfilling role where you'll support individuals in both

home care

and

care home

settings -- helping them live with dignity, independence, and comfort.

Pay Rate:

13.50 per hour

Location:

Suffolk

Driving Licence:

Required - You'll need to drive to visit clients and occasionally transport them to appointments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care

- Support clients with washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and sensitive manner.

Meal Assistance

- Help with preparing meals, feeding if required, and encouraging healthy eating.

Companionship

- Be a friendly face, provide emotional support, and reduce feelings of loneliness.

Mobility Support

- Assist with moving around the home safely or accompanying to appointments and activities.

Medication Reminders

- Ensure clients take their medications on time (training provided).

Follow Care Plans

- Understand and deliver care based on individual needs and preferences.

Documentation

- Use simple digital tools to record observations, changes in condition, and daily notes.

Household Help

- Light cleaning, laundry, and tidying to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
What We're Looking For:

Previous care experience

is great - but

not essential

. We're happy to train the right person with the right attitude.

Full UK Driving Licence

and access to a vehicle is essential due to travel between care visits. Strong

communication skills

- both written and verbal - to keep everyone informed and reassured. Basic

IT skills

- able to use digital systems for logging care notes and reports. A

genuine, caring nature

and desire to improve lives. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
