Blackwater Medical Centre is looking to recruit a part-time or full-time Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team of doctors, ANPs, and practice nurses. We are located in the historic town of Maldon, with easy access to the A12 and good transport links to Chelmsford and Colchester.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, forward-thinking GP training practice where teamwork, patient care, and professional development are at the heart of everything we do.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in supporting clinicians and delivering high-quality patient care. You'll have the opportunity to run your own clinics and contribute to a wide range of services within the practice.

In clinic, you will support patients with:

Phlebotomy (for elderly and selected patients only) ECGs Blood pressure monitoring BMI calculation Injections NHS Health Checks Diabetic foot checks Wound care management Outside of clinic duties, you will: Support the team with room preparation, stocking, and stock rotation Manage clinical tasks and patient queries within the organisation Assist the Infection Prevention and Control lead Help maintain excellent health and safety standards across the practice

Pay: 18,120.07-22,729.92 per year
