Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team who is

fluent in the polish language

. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in home care or care home settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in following their individual care plans and monitor their health status. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a high standard of care. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required. Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all clients. Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development as necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred Proficiency in English and Polish is required for effective communication with clients and team members. Familiarity with creating and following care plans is advantageous. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes are beneficial. A compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others is essential.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
