We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. You will assist with daily living activities, implement care plans, and foster a supportive environment for our clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals are essential.

Responsibilities



Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Implement and follow care plans tailored to individual client needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their well-being. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to senior staff. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. A valid driving licence and access to a car is a requirement. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. Strong IT skills to manage documentation and use relevant software applications. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with clients and colleagues. A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need. Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 13.24-26.48 per hour
