Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Westbourne. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality care while ensuring our residents feel valued and supported in their daily lives.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Support nursing staff in implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Foster a warm and welcoming environment that promotes social interaction among residents. Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge. Assist with meal preparation and serving as needed. Help organize recreational activities that engage residents.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or healthcare setting is essential. Strong understanding of care plans and resident needs. Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and staff effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Basic IT skills are preferred but not mandatory. A valid driving license is an advantage but not required.
