Job Description

We are an expanding GP surgery in Horsham looking to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our exceptionally friendly and hard-working nurse team. The post holder will provide care and support to our patients by undertaking a range of delegated clinical tasks, as well as assisting with the administration of patient cohorts, for example the booking of patient appointments for long-term health conditions.

The hours on offer are:

Mondays - 07:30 to 16:00 - 1 hour lunch Tuesdays - 08:00 to 16:00 - 1 hour lunch Wednesdays - 08:00 to 16:00 - 1 hour lunch Thursdays - Day Off Fridays - Day Off Saturdays - 08:00 to 12:00
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills and be passionate about delivering holistic care that has the patient at its centre. The post holder will be supported to develop skills and abilities, both to enhance their career and to provide an appropriate level of care to patients. Applicants will have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate previous experience as a Health Care Assistant, either in primary or secondary care.

Courtyard Surgery currently has a population of 16,000 patients. We have a highly skilled and friendly nursing team that work closely with the other clinicians in the practice.
