We are currently looking for flexible bank staff with a view to moving to a more permanent role as the home grows.

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to patients in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. Your ability to communicate effectively and follow care plans will ensure that our patients receive the support they need for their daily activities and overall well-being.

Duties

As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Supporting patients in mobility and physical activities to enhance their independence. Following care plans meticulously to ensure personalised care is delivered. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on patient progress. Documenting patient information accurately using IT systems as required. Driving to various locations if necessary to provide home care services. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients at all times.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience in a healthcare or caring role, particularly within care homes or home care settings. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of each patient. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
