Healthcare Assistant

Highfield Private Rest Home is a 30-bed facility providing care for individuals aged 65 and over. Located in the historic and charming Cinque Port town of Hythe, Kent, we are seeking a carer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, personal care, and promoting a warm and welcoming atmosphere within our home.

Shifts run from 8am to 8pm, and we're happy to offer both full-time and part-time positions - we'll do our best to be flexible and work around your availability.

In this role you will...

Provide compassionate care to our residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and wellbeing at all times. Offer emotional support, actively listening and responding to residents' needs with patience and empathy. Work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality care, contributing to a positive and supportive environment. Assist residents with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and mealtimes, always respecting their individual choices and preferences.
