Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in c home care settings, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the highest standards of care. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals will be vital in delivering personalised care plans that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in maintaining their independence while providing companionship and emotional support. Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring all client needs are met. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate staff members. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively. Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. A strong command of English is necessary for effective communication with clients and colleagues. Excellent communication skills are crucial for building rapport with clients and their families. A valid driving licence is advantageous for those required to travel between locations.
