We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in various settings. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring that all client needs are met.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Monitor and record clients' health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare staff.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
Skills
Proficiency in developing and following care plans tailored to individual client needs.
Experience in home care or working within a care home setting is highly desirable.
Strong IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively with team members.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and their families effectively.
A valid for PERSONAL transportation to the different shift locations.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
Experience
. At least six months experience in care as a care assistant or as a support worker
.must have the right to worker in the UK and must be ready to prove via the right to work share code.
.ONE SHOULD BE FLEXIBLE TO COVER SHIFTS INCLUDING LAST MINUTE
