HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT
FULL TIME & BANK POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Hourly rate of pay 12.21
Position would be subject to an enhanced DBS and 2 satisfactory references
You must be able to
Provide a supportive service to relatives liaising with them on an on going basis. Ensure that good communication is maintained with residents and relatives. Encourage relatives to maintain regular contact and offer assistance as necessary. Participate in the reception of new residents. Provide a high standard of order in the Home and an atmosphere suitable for the physical, mental and spiritual needs of residents. Following an holistic approach, report any changes in the needs of residents to the Nurse-in-Charge. To take immediate action on all complaints in accordance with the Home's Complaints procedure. To maintain correct clinical records for all residents. Ensure that clothing is clearly marked. Return clean clothing to residents' rooms and assist the resident to keep wardrobes and drawers tidy as requested. Assist in and supervise the preparation and serving of breakfasts. Ensure meals are served on time and assist in the serving as required. Ensure those residents who require assistance with feeding are appropriately supported. Prepare and serve beverages as required. Assist with laundry duties as required.
