We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. Duties

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Assist with medication administration as per care protocols Support clients in their daily routines, including meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks Drive clients or staff as required for appointments or errands, ensuring safe transportation Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and their families regarding care requirements and progress

Requirements

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes Ability to work flexibly within a team environment Valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation duties Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week
