The Alexandra is a gorgeous building in a set back area in the heart of Poulton, making for a peaceful place whilst also close to public transport routes, making it easily accessible. The Alexandra Nursing Home supports adults and people over 65 to live a life that matters to them whilst managing their varied care needs.

Position Overview:



We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our nursing home. As a Healthcare assistant at our home, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care, improving the lives of our residents, and making a meaningful impact every day. Our approach is rooted in treating our residents' environment as their home, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide compassionate and professional nursing care to residents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records. Promote a safe and welcoming environment that truly feels like home for residents and their families. Assisting patients with personal care, such as eating, showering, using the toilet and dressing Communicating with patients, relatives and carers, and providing emotional support and reassurance Improving the mobility of patients and helping them with their daily activities

Benefits:



Hourly rate of pay starting at 12.21 per hour. Holiday pay - 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata. Access to an in-house trainer providing NVQ level 2 and level 3 in Care. Uniforms provided. Enrolment in the company pension scheme.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Right to Work in the UK This job requires an Enhanced DBS to be carried out.
