Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will assist with daily living activities, support the implementation of care plans, and ensure that the wellbeing of our clients is prioritised. Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management. Help maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team to provide updates on client wellbeing. Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and colleagues. Strong IT skills to manage documentation and use relevant software applications. Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' needs. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, showing flexibility in approach to tasks.
