Job Description
Job Part time - Up to 29 hours a week with overtime available with some Saturday sessions when required.
Salary - Dependent upon experience, knowledge & skills.
Job Summary:-
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and motivated Health Care Assistant to join the team and are seeking someone who has experience in working within primary care, ideally NVQ level 3 or equivalent trained, to work within our existing nursing team.
The successful candidate will have a patient facing role with duties that will include:-
Health screening ECG's Phlebotomy Administer appropriate vaccines Blood pressure monitoring New patient checks and NHS health checks Clinic assistance Mental health and dementia reviews Ordering and stock control Anticoagulation monitoring Act as a chaperone
The applicant must be willing to undertake additional training to develop clinical skills and competencies relevant to the role as they arise.
