We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with all aspects of daily living, while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling career.

:

Supporting a male with a Cerebral Palsy. He is a wheelchair user and requires support with Moving and handling/repositioning. The client does have a wheelchair accessible vehicle, which is why for this role drivers are essential to enable him to get out into the community. The client requires support with all aspects of daily living, but does not require medication administration or any other clinical tasks.

Hours:

12 hour shifts, NIGHTS & DAYS

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.

Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.

Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.

Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.

A minimum of 6 months care experience is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
