Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in s care home setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a good command of English, and the ability to follow care plans effectively. A driving licence is preferred as it may be necessary for transporting clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties as required. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and their families. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential. Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication tasks. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.
