Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Support clients with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication reminders
Follow individualised care plans to meet each client's specific needs
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity
Assist with light domestic tasks within care environments or clients' homes
Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is essential
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards certification
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in providing quality care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
