The role seeks someone who has full rights to work in UK full time. We dont offer sponsorship or neither are accepting workers who can only work parttime hours. You should have an enhanced DBS done recently within a year or should be registered in Update Service. Rota will be a three week rolling pattern of earlies (07:30-15:00) and lates (14:30-22:00), and includes some weekends and potentially some bank holidays

Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being and comfort of clients, assisting with daily activities, and supporting care plans. Responsibilities



Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support Support clients with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication reminders Follow individualised care plans to meet each client's specific needs Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity Assist with light domestic tasks within care environments or clients' homes Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines

Qualifications



Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is essential NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards certification Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in providing quality care Ability to work independently and as part of a team
