Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to residents in our Care Home. This position requires strong communication skills, a good command of English, ability to provide person centred care, following care plans effectively while ensuring the comfort and well-being of those in your care.

Permanent: 38.5hrs Contract

Working Hours: 08.00am - 20.00pm Day/20.00pm - 0800am - Night

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff. Foster a warm and friendly environment by engaging with residents through conversation and activities. Ensure cleanliness and safety within the care home or client's home environment. Drive to various locations as required for home care visits, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled appointments. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home setting is preferred at least 1 year experience Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with residents, families, and colleagues. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using electronic systems like PCS. A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. Ability to work flexibly across various shifts as required by the service needs. Enhanced DBS will be required to be completed by the applicant
