Salary 12.00 per hour

As a Carer, your duties are varied. Your primary duties will include assisting patients with grooming and personal hygiene, preparing meals and providing emotional support.

Their daily duties can include:

Assisting the patient with bathing, grooming and getting dressed Handling household tasks like grocery shopping and laundry Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate time Administering oral and topical medication under the supervision of medical personnel Providing mental and emotional support Making recommendations to family members and healthcare personnel on the plan of care Organising suitable recreational activities for the patient Collaborating with other health care and social care professionals to provide the best possible care

Qualifications

Proven experience in care support or related fields Knowledge of assisted living and patient care practices Familiarity with nursing home and hospice care environments Experience in Alzheimer's and dementia care Ability to administer medication and perform first aid Skills in meal preparation and behavior management Valid driver's license and capability for heavy lifting

Pay: 11.44-12.50 per hour
