Salary:

27,082 - 29,794 per annum (dependent on qualification and experience)

Contract type:

Permanent, full-time

Hours:

37.5 per week, rotating day and night shifts



The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) is one of the UK's longest established independent hospitals and a national centre of excellence in neuro-disability care. Based in a Grade II listed building with extensive gardens, we provide specialist services for adults with complex neurological conditions, from post-acute rehabilitation through to long-term and end-of-life care.

The role





We are seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to join our Specialist Nursing Home service. You will provide person-centred care for adults with complex neurological disability, supporting them to achieve the best possible quality of life. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.



This is a rewarding role requiring resilience, compassion, and the ability to provide high-quality support in a specialist care environment.


Essential criteria




Minimum of six months' paid experience in a UK care setting Level 2 or 3 qualification in Adult Health and Social Care Enhanced DBS clearance (or eligibility to obtain) Confidence in delivering personal care, mobility assistance (including hoisting), and support with eating and drinking Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support individuals with complex communication needs Ability to work flexibly across days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays

Desirable experience




Previous work with individuals with brain injury or complex long-term conditions Experience of working within a multidisciplinary health or social care team
