Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of those in your care. Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Monitor and record patient health information, reporting any changes to nursing staff. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the care home or patient's residence. Drive patients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of care are maintained.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. Experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting patients when necessary. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards patient care.
