Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to a gentleman with locked-in syndrome in his own home, ensuring his comfort, safety, and well-being. This role will include, but is not restricted to, providing personal care, Moving and Handling, the use of PEG feeding, Cough Assist and Nebulisers.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily activities such as washing, dressing and emotional support Monitor and document all care provided, reporting any changes or concerns promptly. Provide companionship and emotional support Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within working environments, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with medication administration Communicate effectively with the service user Take the service user on days out, ensuring his best interests
Qualifications
Previous experience in care is essential Effective communication with the service user Basic IT skills for accurate documentation Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals in their daily lives.
Shift times - 8am - 2pm, 2pm - 8pm, 8pm - 8am
pay rates include holiday pay and are subject to probation
Pay: 14.60-15.12 per hour
