Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care, while also being proficient in IT to manage care plans effectively.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress using IT systems. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Drive to various locations as required for home care visits. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge within the healthcare sector.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for managing documentation and care plans. A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home visits. A caring attitude with a passion for helping others is essential.
