Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home care or assisted living environments, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a caring disposition, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

Provide personal care services, companionship Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Light house work

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a similar setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A valid driver's licence is desirable for transporting clients. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and moving clients when necessary. Certification in first aid or CPR is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact on their lives.
