We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in care home settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a positive environment for our clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals are essential for success in this position.

Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in maintaining their personal hygiene and overall well-being. Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to individual needs. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing updates on their condition and any changes observed. Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel. Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.

Experience

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential. A strong ability to communicate effectively in English is required. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow instructions accurately is highly beneficial. A compassionate approach towards patient care and a willingness to learn new skills are essential attributes for this role.
