Duties
Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients in daily activities to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
Implement and follow care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring safe transportation and timely arrival.
Participate in training sessions to continually improve skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
Experience
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients when necessary.
Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
Familiarity with IT systems is beneficial for maintaining records and documentation.
