Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and support within various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and urgent care facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical knowledge and demonstrate excellent patient service skills. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of patients while assisting healthcare professionals in delivering effective medical care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene. Monitor and record vital signs, intake, and output as part of patient assessments. Assist with medication administration under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers. Support medical staff by preparing patients for examinations and procedures. Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance patient service experience. Assist in the management of clinic operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care. Ensure cleanliness and organization of patient areas to promote a safe environment. Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to emergency medicine, dermatology.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support effective patient care. Experience in hospital medicine, urgent care, outpatient services, or emergency medicine settings is preferred. Ability to perform basic life support techniques and respond effectively in emergencies. Understanding of medical administrative support functions within a clinical environment. Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient interactions and support. Knowledge of medical-surgical practices and internal medicine principles is beneficial.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
