Location: Newport, Wales
Pay Rate: 14 per hour
Hours: 2:1 support - 8am to 4pm & 4pm to 10pm shifts
Driver Required: Yes (must have business insurance)
Start Date: ASAP

We're looking for experienced, confident Healthcare Assistants to join a long-term 2:1 day package supporting a young girl with complex needs. The client is currently based in Caerphilly but will soon be relocating to Newport, where support will continue in her new family home.

You do need a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle to work as a Healthcare Assistant with us. This is because all our customers live in their own homes in the community.

About the Role:
This is a structured and sensitive support role that includes PEG feeding, seizure monitoring, personal care, and emotional reassurance. The child requires a familiar team who can provide consistency, safety, and trust.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- PEG feed and fluid administration throughout the day
- Monitoring seizure activity and supporting during recovery
- Light domestic support and daily routine assistance
- Providing stimulation through safe, low-arousal activities
- Emotional reassurance, mood monitoring, and regulation support

What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 years experience in a child-focused complex care setting
- Confident with PEG, epilepsy care, and child-centred routines
- Calm, consistent, and comfortable in emotionally sensitive environments
- Reliable and proactive with clear communication skills
