We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
Assist with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Support residents with their individual care plans, ensuring personalised attention
Help with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational standards
Support residents in engaging with social activities and promote their independence
Ensure the safety and comfort of residents at all times
Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery
Assist with light domestic duties within the care environment to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards
Requirements
Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving home visits
Good command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication
Basic IT skills to update records and access relevant documentation
Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach towards residents
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexibility to work shifts as required; some roles may involve working evenings or weekends depending on service needs
