Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Glencarron Nursing Home. In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents. Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents and their families. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
