Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Glencarron Nursing Home in South Armagh. In this vital role, you will contribute significantly to the well-being of our residents by providing high-quality personal care and support.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Support the implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills. Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents. Assist with medication administration as directed by nursing staff. Foster positive relationships with residents to promote their emotional well-being.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of care plans and home care practices is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in English is required.
