Health Care Assistant (nights)
Job Description
We have a vacancy for a Night Care Assistant for 12 hours on a Tuesday, plus additional cover when required for Annual leave and sickness cover. Two Cedars is a small friendly Residential Care Home providing accommodation and care for up to 17 elderly Residents. We provide assistance with personal care, social, emotional and physical support to individual requirements. Residents enjoy going on outings, weather permitting and socialising in the lounge with visitors and staff. A new member of the team will have support and guidance from experienced members of the team. Staff new to care are supported through the Care Certificate which will provide them with the tools needed to progress in their chosen career.
There are opportunities for career progression to levels 2, 3 and 5 Diplomas in Health and Social Care and Care Certificate and Mandatory Training.
We provide 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year Meals are provided on a 12 hour shift if requested.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.25-12.45 per hour
Expected hours: 12 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
Broadstone BH18 8AF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (preferred)
NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
Work Location: In person
