Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in both home care and care home settings. This position requires effective communication skills in English and the ability to follow care plans diligently. The Healthcare Assistant will also be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in daily activities, such as meal preparation and medication management. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to IT systems used for record keeping and communication.

Requirements

Proficiency in English with strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with creating or following care plans is advantageous. A valid driving licence is required for travel between client locations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Basic IT skills to manage documentation and client records effectively.

Pay: 12.60-15.60 per hour
