Your Role Will Include:

Providing high-quality person-centred care Supporting clients with personal care, medication, meals, and mobility Promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times Accurate record keeping and clear communication Working collaboratively with families and other professionals

What We're Looking For:

Previous care experience is welcomed A genuine passion for caring for others Good communication and teamwork skills Reliability, patience, and empathy Willingness to complete specialist training (e.g. complex care, PMVA)

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience in a care setting Experience with complex care (e.g., MND, epilepsy, visual impairment, PEG, suctioning) NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care (or working toward) Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car (if community-based) Enhanced DBS check

Desirable:

PEG, suctioning, epilepsy, stoma, or tracheostomy training First Aid, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration certificates Calm under pressure and flexible in approach Understanding of safeguarding principles and Mental Capacity Act
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Flexitime Holidays Monday to Friday Night shift Overtime Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:

Nottingham NG7 6LH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:

health care assistant: 2 years (preferred)
Language:

English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)

United Kingdom (required)
Willingness to travel:

75% (preferred)
