Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities of living, and fostering a supportive environment for our individuals. Acknowledge and follow individual care plans.

Duties

Assist individuals with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in daily living activities such as supported meal times and an holistic approach to care. Ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures whist respecting the needs of the individuals we care for. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the supervising healthcare professional. Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals, promoting their mental well-being. Support individuals to health appointments. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with individuals and team members. Experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and documentation is beneficial. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
