Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant drivers and non-drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home or home care setting. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients while ensuring their dignity and comfort.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs. Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in health status to the nursing staff. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of living spaces, ensuring a safe environment for all. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary. Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members. Experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary. Strong interpersonal skills with a caring attitude towards others.
