Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, maintaining care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for individuals in need of assistance. Strong communication skills in English are essential, as you will be interacting with both patients and healthcare professionals.

Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support individuals in maintaining their personal hygiene and overall well-being. Help implement and maintain personalised care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care. Document patient progress and any changes in condition accurately in accordance with care plans. Drive to various locations as required for home care assignments or patient appointments. Utilise IT systems to manage patient records and communicate updates effectively within the team.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred. A valid driving licence is advantageous for those required to travel between locations.
