Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bank Care Assistant (Nights) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively while fostering a supportive environment for those in need and be able to work.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Adhere to individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental well-being. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments if required. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. Trained in Medication Administration Able to work Nights Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them accurately. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively with the team.

Pay: 12.25-13.00 per hour
