We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The health care assistant will play a vital role in providing essential support to patients and assisting the nursing team in delivering high quality care. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others
Duties
Working under direct supervision of of Lead nurse and GPs and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the health care assistant will assist the clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programs of clinical care
Skills
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication with patients and colleagues.
Experience in primary care or care home settings is highly desirable.
Ability to develop and follow individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using healthcare software effectively.
Duties are varied including phlebotomy, health checks, ECGs, Injections, blood pressure checks to name but a few
