Care Assistant Part Time - Early or Late - Harbour Manor, Felixstowe

Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk

Salary: 13.11 per hour, Paid Breaks

Hours: 26.25 hours per week (Rotating Rota: 3 days on, 3 days off)

Shift Options: 07:00 - 14.30am (Early) or Evening Shift (14:30pm - 22:00pm)

The Role:

As a Care Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate care and support to our residents, assisting them with both their physical and emotional well-being. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be supporting residents with:

Personal Care (help with dressing, hygiene, etc.) Meals & Nutrition (assisting with meal times) Social Interaction (chatting, activities, and providing companionship) Assisting residents in preparing for the day/night ahead Recording resident activities and raising any concerns in a timely manner (training provided)
You'll work closely with a senior care team on each shift and receive full support from a hands-on management team. We're not just a care home, we're a family, and every team member plays an integral part in making our home a special place to live and work.

What we are looking for:

Passion for care: You'll need to have a genuine desire to make a positive difference to people's lives. Experience: A minimum of 1 year's experience in a care home (preferred but not essential) Ability to work on a rotating shift pattern: 3 days on, 3 days off A reliable commute or plans to relocate to Felixstowe, IP11 6AE
