Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will play a vital part in assisting with daily activities, maintaining care plans, and fostering a positive environment for those in your care.

Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining their independence while providing necessary assistance. Help implement and monitor care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and any changes in condition. Drive to various locations as required to provide home care services. Ensure a clean and safe environment for all patients by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Experience or familiarity with IT systems used in healthcare settings is advantageous. Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is preferred but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required. A caring and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Pay: 13.41-19.00 per hour
