Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for our clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both clients and team members are vital for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as required. Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Adhere to health and safety regulations within the care environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. A valid driving licence and your own vehicle is required as this work is community based. Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and communication is beneficial. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and colleagues. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and their families.
