Job Overview:



We are looking for

compassionate and reliable Support Workers / Care Workers

to join our healthcare team. You will play an important role in supporting individuals with their daily living needs, promoting independence, and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being at all times.

The ideal candidate will be caring, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality person-centred care to each individual.

Responsibilities:



Provide personal care and support, including assistance with bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility. Encourage independence and promote dignity, choice, and respect in all interactions. Support service users with daily routines, social activities, and community engagement. Monitor and record any changes in physical, mental, or emotional health and report to senior staff promptly. Follow individual care plans and risk assessments to deliver consistent, safe, and effective care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records in line with company and regulatory standards. Work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure continuity of care. Uphold confidentiality, safeguarding, and health and safety standards at all times.

Requirements:



Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (mandatory)

PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) Training (mandatory)

All mandatory care training certificates

(e.g., Moving & Handling, Basic Life Support, Safeguarding Adults, Infection Control, First Aid, Medication Awareness) Previous experience in a care or support setting (care home, domiciliary, or supported living) preferred Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) A positive attitude, reliability, and genuine passion for helping others Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and shifts

Desirable Skills:



NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards) Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs Ability to work effectively in a team or independently
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour
