As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. You'll support them with daily living activities, promote dignity and independence, and ensure their safety and comfort in a warm, homely environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
Support residents with eating and drinking
Help with mobility and using aids (e.g. hoists, walking frames)
Monitor and report changes in physical and emotional wellbeing
Encourage social interaction and activities
Keep accurate care records
Work closely with nurses, team leaders, and families
Follow infection control, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures
About You:
Kind, patient, and compassionate
Reliable and hardworking
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy
Experience in care is helpful but
not essential
- full training will be provided
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (desirable, not essential)
