Job Description

We are looking for experienced Health Care assistants to join our wonderful team at Bridge House of Twyford.

We are a 54 bedded service providing care for the vulnerable and elderly population with nursing, dementia, residential and respite care needs.

We are based a short walk away from Twyford Station (The Elizabeth Line)

Day shifts 8am to 8pm, 8am to 2pm.

Full Time 36-48 hours

You will have experience of working in a care home with elderly residents . The shifts will vary to cover days and are mainly 12hr shifts , however there may also be split shifts such as 8am-2pm or 2pm -8pm or similar.

You will ideally have up to date training - especially manual handling and a DBS on the up date service. If it is not on the up date service it will need to be dated within the last 12 months.

A successful Health Care Assistant candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications to perform their duties effectively, these include:

Excellent interpersonal skills Good Physically fitness and stamina to lift and move patients and equipment In-depth understanding of hospital health and safety procedures Ability to follow instructions and keen observation skills Ability to multitask and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Thorough attention to detail Good organisation skills
